Our Admission Procedure

Home Students

Students with a UK/EU passport will be required to submit their educational documents along with the application form as detailed in the “Apply via Email” and “Apply via Website” tabs. They will need to send a copy of their passport or bring the passport with them to the college administration office in order to confirm their status as a “Home Student.”

If the college is satisfied by the student’s eligibility, the student will be given an offer letter stating the payment information. Once payment is received, the student can enrol with the college as arranged by the college administrator.

International Students

As a Highly Trusted Sponsor, we are not in the business of enrolling applicants solely for the purpose of gaining or extending their visa. No applicant is able to gain a CAS letter before the relevant fees and the eligibility criteria are met, along with a genuine intent to study in the course chosen.

Step 1: Submit documents and application form

Step 2: Applicant receives Conditional Offer Letter (if successful)

Step 3: Applicant pays fees and satisfies conditions as detailed in the Conditional Offer Letter

Step 4: College issues CAS letter to applicant with verified documents listed

Step 5: Applicant must visit the UKBA (Home Office) with the documents and the CAS letter for their visa application

Maintenance Requirements

As per the UKBA guidance under Tier 4 (General), the amount that must be shown by a student in the bank account for the visa application is dependent on a number of factors

Applying from outside UK

You must show £7200 in your bank account for a period of 28 days before applying for your visa application.
Even the smallest discrepancy below this value can risk an entire visa application’s success.

Applying from inside UK (student must have established presence)

You have established presence if you have completed a minimum 6 month course in last period of leave under Tier 4 and this course finished in the last 4 months OR if you have completed 6 months of a particular course within the last 4 months and are applying to continue study under the same course.

You must show £1600 in your bank account for a period of 28 days before applying for your visa application.
Even the smallest discrepancy below this value can risk an entire visa application’s success.

Further amounts to be shown – Important!

If the tuition fee is not paid in full i.e. if you are on a deposit and instalment plan, the remainder of the tuition fee MUST be shown in the bank account IN ADDITION to the maintenance requirements…

Example 1

Student applying with established presence
Tuition Fee: £3600
Amount paid: £2000
The bank account must therefore show £1600 maintenance PLUS £1600 remainder of the course fee = £3200

Example 2

Student applying from outside UK
Tuition Fee: £4700
Amount paid: £2500
The bank account must therefore show £7200 maintenance PLUS £2200 remainder of the course fee = £9400

Refunds

At the college’s discretion:

If the visa is rejected due to the 30 points for the CAS, the college will refund the amount paid by the applicant, less the £150 administration fee (if it is found that fraudulent documents were used however, a refund may not be provided)

If the visa is rejected due to the 10 points for student maintenance, the college will retain £150 administration fee as well as an extra £150 as penalty

The same rules apply to those students who are already in the UK and are looking to study further and therefore require a visa extension.
